Скачать или смотреть 2023: NNPP Alleges Sabotage Over INEC Refusal To Obey Court Order On Substitution Of Candidates.

The New Nigeria People's Party NNPP has expressed reservation over the refusal of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to obey court orders mandating it to recognized candidates submitted by the party for next month general election.

Addressing a news conference in Abuja, National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Agbo Major criticized the electoral umpire over the development especially as it relates to it's decision to appeal against the judgement of the court.

Major said the candidates the NNPP seek to replace includes former Governor of Kano state, Ibrahim Shekarau,Ibrahim Mikra,Yahaya Gamaje who had all resigned their membership of the party and withdrew from the senatorial race in their various districts.

Alleging that the action of INEC was a deliberate plot to deprive the NNPP opportunity to field candidates for the affected positions, the party called on well meaning Nigerians to prevail on the electoral body to do the needful.

The NNPC further indicated the implication of such action to the conduct of free fair and credible election by INEC.

The party called on eligible Nigerians to take advantage of the timeframe for collection of permanent voters card and vote for it's candidates in the February and March general elections.
