My good old Roland JP-8000 is still working good
but is now showing signs it needs it's AUDIO BOARD
Re-Soldered. :( It doesn't cost a ton to fix but I am just
going to end up selling it AS-IS. But before I post it on eBay,
I'm going to do a little Tutorial / Demo video of what the
Roland JP-8000 can do as a MIDI Controller / Master.
I am using my Roland JX-305 Groovesynth as the tone
module to be controlled. They are from the same time
circa Groove Gear 1995-1999ish. Super cool & fun!!
I just plugged my MIDI cable from JP-8000 OUT to
JX-305 IN. Then I played & tweaked away!
NOTE: This will NOT work on all synthesizers,
must be able to respond to control changes (CC's)
System Exclusive (Sysex) commands. Late 90's on...
