The FFWD Falcon 2-spoke wheel features an innovative design that uses only two spokes in the center of the wheel with a NACA profile shape and a rim profile with a variable depth arc from 48mm to 90mm.

This unique UCI approved design minimizes aerodynamic drag, significantly reducing drag and increasing watt savings. In the most common wind conditions encountered in the real world (0-10 degrees), the Falcon outperforms all competitors’ front wheels by up to 9 watts.

The Falcon is manufactured using the highest quality TORAY © UD carbon fiber. The materials used and the layup schedule have been carefully selected to achieve the optimal balance and stiffness-to-weight ratio of this innovative wheel.

During the development process, FFWD-sponsored team riders from Total Direct Energie and Arkea-Samsic tested a variety of prototypes in training and competition, providing very positive feedback on the overall performance and handling.

For road time trials and triathlons, the Falcon is available as a single front or rear wheel in a tubeless-ready carbon clincher with rim or disc brakes. A tubular track model is also available here, and our testing has shown that pairing the Falcon with a rear DISC-T SL is more aerodynamic than any other current wheel combination.

The Falcon features a DT Swiss 350 hub with 5/100mm front spacing and 5/130mm rear spacing, and is available as a tubeless-ready full carbon clincher or tubular, in matte black or white color options.

In addition to a 3-year full warranty upon registration, each wheel comes with accessories including a CRP and padded wheel bag, tubeless rim tape, valve and valve hole sticker kit.
