The Pathanamthitta District Karate Championship was successfully held on 18th October 2025 at the Royal Auditorium, Pathanamthitta.
It was a grand event that brought together talented karatekas from across the district — all competing with passion, discipline, and true sportsmanship. The championship featured multiple categories including Kata (forms) and Kumite (fighting), showcasing the strength and spirit of martial arts.

Our school SIMA delivered an outstanding performance and proudly lifted the Overall Ever-Rolling Trophy — a recognition of our teamwork, dedication, and relentless practice.
Personally, me it’s a great honor to have achieved a Senior Level Kumite Fighting Medal in this championship.
Kumite (組手) means “sparring” or real-time fighting practice in karate, where two players test their techniques, agility, and self-control under strict rules and discipline. The Senior Level Kumite represents the highest stage of competition, where experience, confidence, and mastery of karate techniques are truly tested.
This victory symbolizes not just a medal, but the spirit of perseverance, courage, and respect — the true essence of Karate-Do, the way of the empty hand.
