Alice (played by Milla Jovovich) is cloned by the Umbrella Corporation's laboratory, becoming a research subject for Dr. Isaac (played by Iain Glen). Because her DNA can combat the T-virus, the doctor uses this to enhance the zombies' lethality. Alice receives a distress signal from humans but falls into a trap. After multiple battles, she manages to save herself. She feels relieved, but in her sleep, she strongly senses the powerful force within her body being summoned - it's clear that the Umbrella Corporation's lab has tampered with her. Moreover, Dr. Isaac has injected human blood into zombies, awakening their human consciousness. The zombies become stronger and uncontrollable, brutally killing the laboratory assistants trained to handle Alice.
