While we're in the midst of a rousing discussion of leaderboard integrity, I present to you another issue that has been in the game since launch. Plays with freestyle solos should not count on leaderboards, because on many songs, skipping the solo makes the song piss easy and produces a score that might not be representative a players skill. This song is the best example, because it has never been FC'd. While I "technically" FC'd it this run because my note streak was equal to the amount of notes available, I did not get the FC wings because they are disabled when freestyle solos are enabled. This doesn't mean shit. Fr3sh, Jef, and I clearly don't deserve to be credited on the leaderboards with the scores we got because we didn't actually play the real song, all the hard parts were removed, therefore nullifying it in my eyes. Feel free to try to change my opinion.

Don't even get me started on how foolish a move it is to remove notes from the track when a player pauses. What the fuck was going through HMX's mind when they implemented that? I get that they were trying to prevent the OD glitch with drums to prevent leaderboard exploiting, but they opened up a whole new can of worms that brings every FC's integrity into question. Scorpionking310 is getting so much shit on reddit for using this method to FC Scream Aim Fire.

I am dumbfounded how many people think that this isn't an issue. Polly 0% FC, and being able to skip an incredibly hard solo is still be considered legitimate by HMX. Wat.

I could go on for days about how much of a dumpster fire RB4 is, but I actually do enjoy playing this game. I've been playing GH and RB games since 2006 when I was nine years old. It's sad to see a once-great game and developer devolve into a shell of its former self. We just now got Online multiplayer (without matchmaking, without score duel or tug-of-war) after over a year after the game first launched. These features were included in RB1 at launch nearly 10 years ago in 2007. This game should have been delayed at LEAST a year to make it a whole experience. Charging $30 for the Rivals expansion is egregious cash grab.
Again, don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing this game. But I am NOT happy with how HMX has handled everything about it. Launching the game with no features, adding old features years after release, a myriad of various glitches, idiotic "fixes", generally bad DLC, shitty instruments, cashing in on Rivals update, poor communication, PDP adapter, etc...

With all that being said, I still have a passion for this game, and only wish the best for it. Hopefully this game will be up to par with their past games after another year or two :/
