[LATEST] Gunmen Kill Three Policemen At Checkpoint, Set Vehicle Ablaze

Three policemen attached to the Umutu Divisional Police Headquarters in Delta State have been killed by unknown gunmen.

They were murdered at a checkpoint in Ukwuani Local Government Area of the State on Wednesday morning.

Eyewitnesses say a patrol Toyota Sienna vehicle recently donated to the Umutu police division was also burnt during the attack.

The officers were allegedly set ablaze inside the vehicle.
The public relations officer of Delta state police command, Edafe Bright has confirmed the incident.
