Alioth was formed in 2001 by Cult Of Daath member “Wargoat Obscurum” in order to compose occult Atmospheric death metal music in the style of legendary bands such as Varathron, Acheron, Septic Flesh, Masters Hammer, Rotting Christ, and Cemetary. There killer debut demo tape “Channeling Unclean Spirits” was re-released in early 2007 by US Occult label/publisher “Starlight Temple Society” with a new layout + lyrics. Alioth are in the process of recording their follow up demo entitled “Beneath The Swamp”. One of The best and most original death metal bands to emerge From the States in a number of years.... This demo is certainly one of the most obscure. From this release you have heard almost nothing. In any case, an absolutely mystical demo that would have deserved more attention.
