A late leveller from the visitors prevented Livingston from recording consecutive cinch Premiership wins, as St Mirren left the Tony Macaroni Arena with a point.

After last week's superb win at Easter Road, Livi were seeking to build on a solid start to the league campaign against a St Mirren side coming into the weekend's matches joint-top of the division.

The Saints edged a first half of few genuine chances, with headers from Baccus and then Kiltie posing problems, the latter forcing a smart save from Shamal George in the Livingston goal to keep the game goalless at the half time interval.

The hosts grew into the second half and thought they had taken the lead with 15 minutes to go. A lofted through ball from Jason Holt left Bruce Anderson 1-on-1 with Zach Hemming, and he expertly finished through the 'keeper's legs. After VAR review, the goal was adjudged offside and disallowed.

With two minutes left of normal time, the winner finally appeared to arrive as Luiyi De Lucas fired in Mo Sangare's cross from a set piece, for his first goal in amber and black.

Deep in stoppage time, the Lions were denied all three points as they failed to deal with an aerial ball into the box, leaving Stav Nahmani alone to nod in past the helpless George to tie up the game.
