Sim: Assetto Corsa
Sorry for the slow driving, shit happens and the one time i crashed a bit i didnt expect the corner to be so tight and thought the RX7 would be much slower.
this is my latest WIP Project, it based on the DPWerkz Golf 2 GTI Mod, / dpwerkz
I think it would be the best, when i just send him my mod, when it's ready and he released it on his his side, because the main modding work was done by him. I just implement the Golf 2 Synchro drive. It is a connection from the front axle to the both rear wheels with a viscous coupling for each wheel, without slipping it works like a complete fwd drive but when the front wheels spin it also drive the rear wheels without a differential lock and with the delay that viscous couplings normally generates.
Also i add the oddometer and some extra features provided by the Shader Patch (i use v.39, because for me, it's the best working version, but that's just my opion and what X4fab has already done is just awesome!)
The wipers and the front was changed by me, too. In addition i overworked the light atmosphere and adjusted the physics, like the suspension, the air resistance coeffi, so that the car reach the specs from wiki and i add more tyre version, like 90s tyres, 80s tyres and dirt- and rain physics tyres.
Next things that will follow are wiper animations (hopefully this time it will not just be a loss of time and motivations, like my last tries with 3ds max, because now there is a better tutorial online).
Then i will add damage effects and dirt fx on the body, the windows, the tyres and the exhaust and the exhaust will be swapped with one that fits better the original exhaust.
SOUND MODDING:
for the sound mod i used for the engine base sound Forza Motorsport 4 samples and the Kunos AE86 sound mod samples.
It's a bit strange that the FM4 samples from the Golf MK2 ini are inside the E30 sound files library but it sounds very close to the original sound recordings that can be found on youtube.
For the G-Lader (the VW supercharger) i recorded the fan on my desktop, which i usally uses for the simulation of wind with a very little opened side window, i tested the feeling several times with my real car and it's pretty close to reality now, To drive the fan a use a little circuit with a 12V power supply, a restitor, a darlington transistor, an Arduino Uno and a modified version of Simhub to get from the Speed Signal a PWM signal and not a sinus signal with variable frequency. I will make a video about my Arduino / Simhub Stuff next, but that will take some time.
Also i implement the original Golf 2 Horn sound and a limiter, tbh it's from a demolated Golf 3,some kids play with it untill the engine completly blowed off,
• Golf 3 Kolbenfresser, Motorplatzer, engine...
because i found a lot different limiter sound for the mk2, but none of them seems to be authentic, they all sounds like aftermarket.
Then i implemented backfire sounds that i extracted from this vid:
• Golf 2 - Sunday On Board #2
and, i know it's a bit funny, but i recorded as intake chuff my lever espresso machine, when it's starts to generate the pressure for the process of making coffee. I think the result is very impressive, depends a bit on your headphones and your Equalizer settings.
The ppfilter: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Yu1w...
(It is an older version of the immersive ACC ppfilter from Racedepartment, that i overworked, because it had a bug with godrays.)
Weather: gbW Suite at 14:07 and few Clouds

Wheel: DFGT (with sequential manual transmission)
Clutch + E-Brake
Headtracker: Tutorial here:
https://assettocorsamods.net/threads/...
My latest feature is a Reshade FX, called Tilt Shift, that makes it possible to generate fake DOF and is always focused on the point you are looking when driving with the Head tracker. The installation tutorial for Reshade is inside the gbW Suite handbook pdf, when you tried on your on, you will normally fail.
