When you do the Frontside Smithgrind, the obstacle is in front of you and you land and grind on your back truck, while you press your nose down with your front foot. That sounds really complicated but it isn’t. Furthermore it looks super stylish. You can do the Frontside Smithgrind on curbs, ledges, rails and transitions. It’s an all-around skateboard grind trick. For the beginning, we suggest you learn it on a curb or rail, because it’s much easier on those two obstacles.
