What is CMAT?
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a business aptitude test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. The CMAT is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India. About 70,000 candidates appear for it every year. CMAT score is accepted by some of the top B-schools in India including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai and PUMBA. The CMAT question paper consists of 100 questions from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The total marks of CMAT is 400. CMAT is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the duration of the exam is three hours.

Benefits of Appearing for CMAT 2023
CMAT 2023 is conducted at the end of MBA entrance exam season, so candidates don't have to prepare much as the experience of exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP come in use.
CMAT 2023 score is accepted by about 1,300 MBA colleges in India which includes some of the top colleges in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
CMAT 2023 exam is a moderate difficulty level exam so it is easy to crack.
CMAT 2023 cut offs for admission to top colleges are not expectionally high, so you can get a good college with decent score.
There's no 50 per cent aggregate criteria for CMAT 2023 application, so any candidate with passing marks in graduation can appear for the exam.
CMAT 2023 applicaton fee for women and reserved category candidates is only INR 1,000 which is quite less as compared to CAT, XAT, IIFT, SNAP fees.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
Before applying for the CMAT, candidates must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:
The aspirant must have completed graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for CMAT 2023 but they will have to present the passing certificate at the time of admission.
There is no minimum score percentage criteria in graduation for CMAT 2023 exam.

CMAT Exam Pattern and Syllabus
CMAT is an online exam in which 100 questions are asked from Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension. General Awareness and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Each question carries four marks there is negative marking of one mark for every wrong attempt. An optional section was introduced last year. CMAT exam 2023 will be held in the last week of March or first week of April 2023. The examination conducting body, NTA will announce the CMAT 2023 exam dates and registration schedule most likely in February. CMAT exam was previously conducted in January or February. However, CMAT 2022 was conducted in April and registrations had started in February. MBA aspirants can register and fill the CMAT application form 2023 online at the NTA website for a fee of INR 2,000 (INR 1,000 for women and reserved category students). CMAT exam will be conducted at over 100 cities across India at designated examination centres.
