This event give me nier automata vibe cause yknow, not spoiling but you'll get it if you play that game.

Anyway, this event is extremely good cause it give a whole new hollow to explore so the dev is going all out for miyabi lul, even make one of the reward objective is to do weekly exploration.
Rewards not bad too, both the permanent and limited time one. Especially the wengine, giving crit stat weapon for an event weapon? That other hoyo game could never, jk.

The lore for this event is pretty deep in my opinion.
Give us more exposition on how hollow happen, more info on the miyabi's clan, and a giving soukaku more personality than a food goblin.
Out of the side quest, the one that I enjoy the most is probably Soukaku's one, that orphanage story is pretty melancholic.
Harumasa's is ok but it's just go there, kill that, kind of ordeal which is fine and simple and I don't mind it, but there's no lore. (maybe cause he already got his own tv program so there's no need to expand his lore that much).
Yanagi's is go there, collect this, which has much more story but it just mundane stuff so it's isn't as deep as Soukaku's one.
Miyabi's don't have a side quest since all the main one is about her.

I want to talk more about the main plot but I think that would be a massive spoiler incase you wanna watch this vid for its quest so Im gonna refrain from that.
Instead lets talk about the exploration, I hope more flagship event will be like this, maybe void hunter in the future will have their own hollow during flagship event to explore?? maybe, pradge
The puzzle or collecting chest isn't that hard, just the terrain can be a bit confusing, plus they already mark all the location so I don't need to look up a guide.
Marcel file is interesting though, I think this bangboo mode will probably be a staple in the future if they want to remove hdd mode.

(Note from the future) It is now version 2.1 and I finally collect all chest, permanent rewards and do the weekly one last time lul. So yeah, procrastination at its finest.
Well to be fair, I already done all weekly investigation during 1.5 but just too lazy to collect chest until 7 months later ehe.
Also Sisyphus moment at the last marcel file, in the beginning part is what dread me the most ngl.
