Crawfordsville, Indiana Drone B-Roll Footage

This is a short film I made testing out my new (at the time) DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone. My hometown of Crawfordsville, IN filmed in the Fall of 2020. Rural areas and small towns seem to get a bad rap from city folk, but I'll take the simple life over city life ANY day. The courthouse centerpiece of the town had just had the clock tower installed and it was bright and pretty. The old tower was torn down in the middle of the last century for structural reasons, and through community efforts and the dreams of the late Dr Marian Kirtley, it was finally replaced half a century later. Enjoy a quick peek of the small town of Crawfordsville, Indiana, home of Ben Hur author Lew Wallace, and one of the last remaining rotary jails.
