737 MAX Landing in Long Beach, CA (LGB) - Southwest Airlines 737 MAX 8

This is a flight I had been trying to check off my list for five years: Taking the 737 MAX into Long Beach Airport. It was cloudy off shore during our descent and approach and we broke out under the clouds just before crossing over the beach. It had been a couple of years since i’ve arrived in LGB from the north and I really missed the base and turn to final over the beach. Despite being cloudy it was still a fun approach and landing. Long Beach doesn’t have jet bridges so boarding is done via ramps and air stairs. There’s just something great about stepping off the aircraft into the open air, looking left to the beautiful LEAP engine and wing of the MAX then walking across the ramp to the terminal door. I apologize for my hand coming into view during our rollout after landing. I was filming freehand for the first time in several years and I was taking some still pictures at the same time.
