Telling someone when they are going through a rough patch to just ‘get over it’ or feel happy is a HUGE invalidation of emotions.

It is NECESSARY to process & release grief to let it go!

To further stuff emotions just creates dis-ease & more inner conflict.

More than ever we are divided with fear in our modern day society. Please don’t exacerbate others experience by telling someone to just be happy when he/she is going through a difficult time.

You might as well say, “I really don’t feel comfortable with the expression of your truth, can you please shut the fuck up and just pretend you’re happy?”

NO!

You gotta get the stuck emotions out to come back around organically to joy.

The more you cry and allow your emotions to be fluidly released, the more you can laugh.

For those of you going through a rough time this holiday season , YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Speak it
Get it out!!!
