Trial by Fire is the second storyline quest in Expeditions: Rome. Romulus Romilius Blade and his entourage must infiltrate a warehouse and obtain jars of Greek Fire.

Overview:
After arriving in the legion camp of Legio Prima Italica, you can explore the camp a bit and talk to your companions a bit more. Then head towards the legatus tent, where Lucius Licinius Lucullus, your patron is awaiting. Lucius, who has assigned you as a tribune, suggest that you and your companions should join his speculatore Julius Calidus in an operation sabotaging the fleet of the Pontic Kingdom. When entering the area and searching for the contact person, who isn't there, Bestia Tabat decides to head back. Then Julius Calidus appears from the darkness and explains the mission.

About the game:
Expeditions: Rome is a tactical role-playing game developed by Danish developer Logic Artists and published by THQ Nordic. It is the third game in the Expeditions series, which includes Expeditions: Conquistador and Expeditions: Viking. The game is an RPG that combines gameplay in local, tactical battles with other types. In the game, the player controls a legatus (modern day general) who investigates the death of their father and travels throughout the Roman Republic and the nearby regions of Asia Minor, Egypt, and Gaul. The story takes place in a fictional retelling of Rome, where your character replaces Julius Caesar, and whose actions affect the fate of the Republic.
