Graphing a Polynomial Equation :: Curve Sketching Using Calculus

Описание к видео Graphing a Polynomial Equation :: Curve Sketching Using Calculus

In this video I describe the steps in the process of using Calculus to draw the graph of a polynomial function.

To accurately sketch a function's graph, Calculus can be used to find:
Critical Numbers
Intervals where f(x) is increasing/decreasing
Extrema (maximum and minimum points)
Possible Points of Inflection
Intervals of Concavity
Points of Inflection

I describe what each of these concepts are and slowly work through the process of identifying them in an example.
