Defying those who say January is too early for seed starting!

Описание к видео Defying those who say January is too early for seed starting!

Many think that December/January are too early for seed starting, and while that's true for our heat lovers like tomatoes and peppers, there is lots you can do in winter in Zone 5/6 to prepare!

Here on the flower farm we are getting our native seeds cold stratified to get them ready to start, germinating our slow growers like perennials and lisianthus, and starting our cold loving seeds like stock and violas.

We are also doing some winter sowing and seed saving!

So if you're itching to get that garden up and going again, don't worry-there is plenty you can do now!
