Sold new in September 1962 and finished in Rose Taupe, with contrasting red Duotone interior, we're delighted to offer this wonderful Traveller. With only 3 previous keepers and the having been owned by the same owner for the last 7 years she has been lovingly restored and features many original NOS parts, whilst retaining her original woodwork, which remains in fantastic condition. In addition she comes comes with a great history file too, with invoices for works carried out, MOT certificates and its wonderful to find such an example that comes with an original Owners Manual and 'Schedule of Repair charges' too.....if only a 12k miles service cost the same today as it did back in the 60's, less than £6!!

Mechanically in excellent order and having traveled less than 2000 miles in the last 10 years this Traveller is joy to drive. With the smallest amount of 'choke' needed on start-up the 948cc engine starts easily and pulls sweetly through all gears and the Traveller will happily sing along down country lines, the exhaust giving its unique 'waspy' rasp during gear-changes.

Often a weak point on many Morris Minor rebuilds we're delighted to say the panel gaps are consistent and even around the car. Her Rose Taupe bodywork is wonderful, free from any blemishes, the chrome and paint having a wonderful lustrous shine and the Travellers woodwork, is in first class order, all original, maintained impeccably over the years .... without being too cliche, it's aged like a fine wine! On opening the door / tail-gate, the driver and passengers are met with a highly original interior, in wonderful condition with all the switches, latches having a quality feel and one can't help but smile watching the indicator stalk end 'flash' in unison with the exterior flasher lamps. Her interior features the correct Duotone and original material, fitted to cars between '62-'64, she has the 'luxury' of a heater / blower and despite being relatively small by modern car standards the Traveller actually offers a good amount of interior space with a bright and airy feel, the ideal classic for young & old and ready for day trips, weekends away or just enjoying as she is.
