Описание к видео EARTHING AND BONDING – PART 4 OSG – EXTRANEOUS AND EXPOSED CONDUCTIVE PARTS – WHAT ARE THEY & WHY?

In this video from LearnElectrics, we will look at the terms Earthing and Bonding and the tables that are found in part 4 of the on-site guide.

In particular we will look at some of the often asked questions such as …
What is the difference between an extraneous part and an exposed part?
How many earths are there in an installation?
How do I know what size bonding conductor to install?

We will begin with a look at the three types of Earthing system in common use. There are others, but these three will keep us busy for now.

Then we will move on to an understanding of the terms and naming conventions used and why these different names mean different parts of an installation.

Cable size selection is important, as is knowing where we should be connecting the conductors and why.
