Mill House was an alt-country solo project conceived by Tom Nixon. "The Return" is the completion of an unfinished song by Jes Gru, based on a short story concept originally developed by Liz Fornal. This is the only official music video published by Mill House, which released two full-length albums in 2024, "Gray House Chronicles" and "Spoken Mirrors," originally recorded as demos in Nixon's home in the mid- to late-90s.
