SLU COE Chorale

One of best choirs of Saint Louis University after having consistently won all the top prizes in the SLU Music Festivals since the 1990s.

The COE Choir was founded long before the superb SLU Glee Club. The COE Choir is mostly composed of freshmen up to junior students and alumni from the College of Education of SLU. COE Choir is a powerful arm of the institution in the realm of Music Education.

As the College of Education is envisioned as an institution for excellence in teacher education (CHED _ Center of Excellence anew!) committed to be a leader in the formation and training of competent, creative, socially-involved educators, and imbued with the Christian spirit of inclusive education.

It aims to provide the teachers with the knowledge and skills that foster creativity, critical thinking and scholarly research needed for national development. To find creative ways and means to operate as a self-reliant unit and sustain long-term growth and development And To instill in teachers and students love for excellence in teaching and dedication to the profession

The Choir has produced a lot of excellent musicians and music teacherrs actively and constantly sharing their gifts of music.

Presently under the leadership of Mr. Abiezer Celzo, the COE Choir continues to set new trends of excellence in the area of music competitions.
