Dufftown Highland Games in beautiful Moray, Scotland, returns on Saturday, 30th July 2022, after a two year gap due to the pandemic. This film shows the opening of the last Games held in 2019 by the Chieftain Alex Grant and the Baron of Balvenie, honorary President of the Games. These friendly Games include all the traditional events and many opportunities for members of the public to take part in the races.

The massed pipe bands of almost 300 pipers and drummers are led by Drum Major Nick Stables from Dufftown & District Pipe band. The remaining ten bands taking part were Arberlour Community & District Pipe Band, Ballater & District Pipe Band, Buckie & District Pipe Band, Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band, Forres and District Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band, Lonach Pipe Band, Strathisla Pipe Band and Towie Pipe Band.
