Set in a beautiful bungalow that dates back to the last century, Raya is easily the most popular restaurant in Old Phuket town. Known for its traditional recipes that span across Thai, Malay and Chinese influences, the food here is the sort that brings people back over and over again “for its consistency”, avered my friend Mark Wiens. And so it was only appropriate that we experienced the must-try dishes here with him and his family. Definitely make note of this spot for a meal when you are in Phuket next.
