A visit by Save the Children, Norway with the Yates family and representatives of the Cambodian Ministry of Education to visit ex-Khmer Rouge townships in the north of Cambodia, March 2000. After Pol Pot's death in 1998, the country was gradually re-integrating these areas which had been held by the KR since their downfall nationally in 1979.

Led by Gunnar Andersen and Keo Sarath of Redd Barna, the group was establishing priorities and feasibility of re-establishing proper primary schooling in these areas. Mick & Ingrid Yates, with their daughter Victoria (age 10) were on the trip as founders of the programme.

The group met many people, including Cheat Chum (interviewed in the clip) who was the District Governor and a champion of the programme. He was an ex Khmer Rouge Brigadier.
