Regal Entertainment Group, which owns a collection of movie theaters, spends most of their marketing dollars on digital marketing. They look at many metrics to measure the success of an ad campaign, including clicks to website, time spent on website, mapping directions to a theater, discovering specific deals, and viewing movie times. They try to think locally in order to differentiate their theaters. On Yelp, they have found that customers are actively looking for them. Consumers who went to Regal websites from Yelp were much more likely to buy tickets than consumers coming from other websites.

Within a one-month Yelp Ads campaign, Regal saw an 139% increase in user views of their Yelp business pages. They also experienced a 77% increase in customer leads, which included clicks to their website, mobile calls, directions and map views, and mobile check-ins.
