Welcome to Part 21 of our Avowed gameplay series! In this episode, we embark on the main quest, "Face Your Fears," where we seek to locate the archmage Ryngrim in her domain. This quest is pivotal in advancing the storyline and unlocking new companion dynamics.

📖 Walkthrough Steps:

Talk to Yatzli:

Begin by speaking with Yatzli outside of The Dead Swordfish in Thirdborn. During this conversation, she will provide insights into The Circle of Archmagi and express her intent to join your party as a companion.

Bring Yatzli to Ryngrim's Domain:

With Yatzli in your party, head northeast of Thirdborn to reach Ryngrim's Domain, located in the Shark's Teeth region of Shatterscarp. Along the way, you'll encounter enemies such as Arisen Skeleton Chanters and Priests. It's advisable to eliminate these threats before entering the domain.

Investigate Ryngrim's Domain:

Upon entering the domain, follow the quest marker through the foggy environment. You'll come across a dead Xaurip near a tent containing a Strangely-Marked Xaurip Spear. Continue forward until you reach a portal leading deeper into the domain.

Restore the Broken Statue:

Inside, you'll find a broken statue that requires three missing parts: the Heart, Head, and Hand.
Statue Hand Path:
From the altar, ascend the stairs on the right and burn the obstructing brambles. Defeat the Arisen Skeletons and proceed to a room with a purple-marked wall. After defeating a Queen Crystal Spider and its minions, open the marked wall to retrieve the Statue Hand.

Statue Head Path:
From the altar, take the left path, burning any brambles in your way. Navigate through enemy-infested areas to locate the Statue Head.

Heart of the Statue Path:
Proceed through the central path, overcoming various challenges and foes to secure the Heart of the Statue.

Once all parts are collected, return to the altar and restore the statue by placing each piece in its respective slot. Interact with the statue to activate it and unlock the path forward.

Find Ryngrim and Defeat Her Skeletons:

After activating the statue, proceed through the newly opened path. You'll encounter waves of Ryngrim's Skeletons. Prepare for a prolonged and challenging battle, utilizing crowd control tactics and focusing on high-priority targets to manage the onslaught effectively.

Speak with Ryngrim:

Following the defeat of her skeletal minions, you'll have the opportunity to converse with Ryngrim. This interaction will provide deeper insights into the overarching narrative and may influence future quests.

Leave Ryngrim's Tower:

After your discussion with Ryngrim, exit her domain to conclude the quest.

Companion: Yatzli joins your party as a companion.
