With a huge rally of the day in Kalyan, Maharashtra, the PM spoke of his governance as it marks a historic turning point in Indian politics, he remarks that, “For the first time, 25 crore poor people are emerging from poverty. For the first time, there's talk of providing a permanent house to every poor person. For the first time, every household will have access to tap water. For the first time, the poor have a guarantee card for free medical treatment. And... this government, led by a son of the poor, has given top priority to the welfare of the poor. Today, for the first time, we see a new confidence in India.”
