How to add a moderator to your YouTube Channel all of these are basically the same thing so to get started you need to get to the my account manager for Google.

In order to do this you need to come up to the top right hand corner and click on the avatar icon.

Next click on the gear button which is for the YouTube settings.

This will launch an overview of your channel account settings.

To the left you can see where it says managers and just to the right of that is a hyperlink that says add or remove managers you want to click on that link.

This will launch the my account setting page For Google this is attached to your YouTube channel, your Google plus page and also Google Photos things like that.

Now what we want to do where it says Users just to the right in order to add new users were gonna click on this blue button which says manage permissions! This will launch your manage permissions page and show you everybody on there who is actually a manager of the account and has access to all your other Google assets as well.

If you want to add a new communication manager or youtube moderator what you do is go to the top right-hand corner and click on the people plus icon which will invite new managers to bring up up another box and we just need to put the email address of the individual that we want to invite to become the manager.

On this page just below where the email address goes if you click on the down arrow is drop down menu that will allow you to choose three separate roles the owner and the manager or the communications manager and once you add that all you do is click on the invite button it will send them an email inviting them to be the manager on your YouTube channel.

And if you want to delete a manager just to the right of their name will be an x just click on that and it will delete the manager!

Okay you can see how simple that process actually is reasons why you might want to change ownership of your YouTube channel what is that you've built your channel up and you want to sell it off and some is gonna pay you a lot of money and then this is a real easy way to change the ownership of that Channel.

And once they become the owner of the channel they can change the passwords on the channel and take full position.

And another reason why you might want to change ownership on a YouTube channel is that for some reason your AdSense account gets banned if that's the case then you can actually transfer the channel over to a different entity and that way you can actually start using AdSense again and start monetizing your channel

Hey it happens, sometimes people make mistakes on the AdSense platform if they are just starting out and don’t understand all the rules regulations that go along with that and they can get banned because of it!

I know because that happened to me several years ago before all a lot of the changes to updates on YouTube I just really didn't understand what I was doing how it all worked and because of that I was running ads I wasn't supposed to and on my account got banned. So that could be a reason why you want to change ownership as well
