On almost every model train car I have, I have gone through the trucks, or bogies of each car and improved the looks of these components. A little paint and a little pastel powder is all it takes. In this video, I bring you along for "the usual routine" I run my model train trucks through. I have touched on some of this as part of other weathering videos, but it's enough of a process within itself to warrant its own video. That and I will be able to point to this video instead of demonstrating the process every time I document weathering a car. I'm using Tichy Bettendorf Truck Frames and Intermountain metal wheels in this video, but the process is basically the same for almost every other manufacturer.
