Aquariums of InterZoo 2012 (pt. 40) - ZZF

Several planted aquariums at the booth of ZZF (Zentralverband Zoologisher Fachbetriebe, http://www.zzf.de) during InterZoo 2012 fair. Almost all tanks were arranged by Oliver Knott, so expect the unexpected! ;)

00:18 - this layout was created in Fluval Edge 46 liters aquarium. I can recognize Hydrocotyle tripartita on the substrate, but other plants are more or less a mystery - the grass-like plant on the substrate, and two species of stemmed plants in the central part. Is one of them Pogostemon erectus?

00:41 - this tank, and two more, look like a prototype of Denerle Scaper's Tank ;) Similar proportions. This particular aquarium was arranged during aquascaping workshop. Plants used are: Staurogyne repens, Eleocharis parvula, Hemianthus callitrichoides "Cuba".

00:54 - another tank looking like Dennerle Scaper's Tank, also arranged during a workshop (this is why it looks so fresh, with airbubbles all over the tank). Identifying plants here is more difficult - I didn't make any close-up. But I recognize some aquatic mosses, Bucephalandra sp. and Anubias sp.

01:09 - nannoaquarium made by Eheim, illuminated by LED lamps and arranged by Oliver Knott. The main plants are Bucephalandra sp., along with numerous mosses.

01:21 - very interesting layout created in 12 liters LEO Q550 tank. I can recognize Hemianthus callitrichoides "Cuba", Hydrocotyle tripartita and Pogostemon helferi. The two species of stemmed plants are more or less a mystery. Anyone? :)

01:35 - another original project by Oliver Knott :) This statue has its name: Monster of Green, or something like that, I don't remember it at the moment :) Anyways, the idea is quite simple - aquatic moss growed on the surface of the statue, being watered by a small hose attached to the "arm" of the lamp. There is, of course, small filter in the aquarium, which pumps the water up.

02:17 - the third and the last tank similar to Dennerle's Scaper's Tank. This time planted almost exclusively with Hemianthus callitrichoides, with some clumps of Hydrocotyle leucocephala. In my opinion this is the best tank of this booth :)

02:25 - another original idea of Oliver - "bouquet of flowers" in the quarium. I'm not sure what plants were used for this composition - is it Pogostemon erectus, Hygrophila difformis, and Vallisneria sp.? I don't recognize the main stemmed plant, the one with thick stem. I'm not sure if it's an aquarium plant at all :)
