Players can play online with or without crossplay enabled (at the moment PC players are required to use a gamepad). Players will play at individual egos. The game will go at the speed of their personal egos. This means the game will try to balance out games between people at different skill levels in order to keep quick matchmaking. Metalhead Software has been super forthcoming about planning to update the mode over time and to continue to bring more balance tweaks.
