ಇವನ ಪಿಡಕೊಂಡು ಪೋಗೆಲೋ ಜೋಗಿ
ಇವ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತ ಕೇಳದೆ ಪುಂಡನಾದ

ಆಡುತಾಡುತ ಪೋಗಿ ನೀರೊಳು ಮುಳುಗಿದ |
ಬೇಡವೆಂದರೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಬೆನ್ನಲಿ ಪೊತ್ತ ||
ದಾಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಾ ಧಾರಿಣಿ ನೆಗಹಿದ |
ನೋಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ಬಾಯತೆರೆದಂಜಿಸಿದ ||

ಹುಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಪ್ರನ ಕಣ್ಣು ತಿವಿದ ಬುದ್ದಿ |
ಇಲ್ಲೆಂದರೆ ಕೈಲಿ ಕೊಡಲಿಯ ಪಿಡಿದ ||
ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಪಿಡಿದು ತಾನು ರಕ್ಕಸರ ಕೊಂದ | ಬಹು |ಬಲ್ಲಿದ ಮಾವನ ಶಿರವ ಛೇದಿಸಿದ ||


ಬತ್ತಲೆ ಕುದುರೆಯ ಹತ್ತಬೇಡೆಂದರೆ |
