WOO what a classic! I'm not sure if many people are aware of the original MV I made in 2020, but here it is remade with a jinriki UTAU cover! Personally, I'm much happier with this version -- I think the art is much better, given that with the first version I made of this MV I just rawdogged it all in one night LMAO, I've given myself plenty of time to work on this! I actually finished this PV a few months ago, and have had the UST in progress for a while.

Most of all, I'm really happy with how the mixing came out. HUGE thanks to Aca for helping me out, because I was despairing with how bad it sounded before they gave me a few tips (LOL) but after a few edits I think this is one of my best mixed covers so far! Also, I gotta thank Duck for the moral support LMAO I was fully spiralling in the GC because of how nasty it sounded at first. Nashimoto's messy instrumental style didn't help -- it kind of makes it so that pitching the inst in any way makes it sound... rough... I actually originally had the cover at -6 before but that sounded really nasty so I settled at +2 at the price of making him sing a few keys lower than originally hoped for. However, that kind of grew on me? He's singing so low that he sounds subdued, and I think it really suits the song!

...anyway, apologies for the huge rant lol I just put a lot into this one. I was scared it would turn out terribly but the mixing really saved it. Again, happy birthday to Mayoi. He's made my life so much worse since I've gotten to know him. 💜 Crazy how 3 years later I'm making the same video for him! I wonder if I'll ever be free.
