Project Support Officer - Deaf Hub (Wales)
We have an exciting new role for a young deaf person between the ages of 16 - 24!
The role is a Project Support Officer at Deaf Hub Wales in Cardiff
Deaf Hub Wales is a fast growing organisation dedicated to improving the lives of Deaf people across South Wales.
As a Project Support officer you will be involved with various projects that are happening at Deaf Hub Wales in Cardiff. The projects are diverse and exciting. You will also have the opportunity to work with our numerous user groups, for example, Deaf Cool Youth Group, Cardiff Deaf Creative Hands, Sports and Social Club, and many more!
You will also have the opportunity to work with successful Deaf people who have had wide varied careers in Public Services, Law, Academia and Business. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about what is available to you.
If you have a specific interest you would like to focus on, we will do our best to give you the opportunities to develop yourself.
The language of the building is BSL but we welcome all Deaf and hard of hearing people to apply and will make sure your access needs are met.
We operate a flexible hours policy within reason. The hours are: 25 per week.

The only criteria is you must be Deaf or hard of hearing, be between the ages of 16-24, are currently unemployed, and claiming Universal Credit.
