Proponents of two-state solution must 'explain to Israel' how Palestinian state will ensure security

The announcement by Ireland, Spain and Norway on the recognition of a Palestinian state is perceived by Israel as a major blow. Nomi Bar-Yaacov, international negotiator and Senior Research Fellow in the International Law Programme at Chatham House tells FRANCE 24's Mark Owen that the key missing element from their respective speeches in recognition of the Palestinian state is explaining to Israel how the existence of a Palestinian state will make Israel more secure.
