The legacy of Sean “Diddy” Combs will never be the same. After a shocking 2016 domestic violence video emerged, The Post’s music critic Chuck Arnold gives his brutally honest take on the hip-hop mogul. While Combs’ apology video only “added insult to injury,” Arnold says we cannot “punish all of those artists … who benefitted from the genius of Sean Combs” over the years.

He also shares his review of Twenty One Pilots’ seventh studio album “Clancy” – it’s a no for him. “It’s hard for me to see how they have sold millions of records, and they can headline arenas,” Arnold admits, calling the popular duo “corny.”

On a brighter note, Lenny Kravitz’ new album “Blue Electric Light” gives Prince vibes – not to mention the ripped rocker is “giving mad body envy” ahead of his 60th birthday.

This week, Arnold attended Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour at Madison Square Garden. She was joined on stage by Cardi B. for their hit “WAP.” In light of the recent Megan-Nicki Minaj beef, Arnold said “it’s clear that Megan is not on Nicki’s level in terms of production and hits, at least not yet.”

Get all of these hot takes, plus our summer playlist featuring Nelly, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Coldplay, and Don Henley – his hit “Boys of Summer” turns 40 this year. This is “Listen Up! The Music Beat with Chuck Arnold.”
