Unconditional Abidance

Описание к видео Unconditional Abidance

The pure Awareness in you, the Ātman, is absolute Consciousness or Brahman appearing as pure subjectivity to create sentiency for the purpose of serving phenomenality. Conceptual distinctions are temporary companions on the path to becoming no one. When you reach your destination, you no longer need them.

The knot, the very subtle contraction of the 'I am-ness', is the last obstacle to realization. When this knot is untied, the residual ‘I’ is dissolved and you can never come back to identification. Unconditional abidance in this 'I am-ness', in your pure Presence, is the final 'sādhanā' -the one that will bring you to realization. In effortless, unconditional abidance, fear will disappear and, by adopting an attitude of 'asparsha', that is, by never touching the content of the mind, Awareness will inevitably merge into absolute Consciousness.

In this video, Swami Ji responds to a question asked during open satsangs he shared on 18-28 January 2018 in Tiruvannamalai, India, exploring the theme of Consciousness and the Nature of Spiritual Awakening. The basis of these satsangs was a discussion of Sri Ramana Maharshi’s poem, Sat Darshana (Forty Verses on Reality).
