Bert Convy CENSORS Betty White during a clue she received on “Super Password” in 1986. Bert Convy seems CONVINCED that Betty White is going to say the expletive for 💩 & stops her because it’s daytime television the 1980’s! This is absolutely hilarious because Betty White doesn’t appear upset, and seems that where she was headed. Her husband, Allen Ludden was the original host of “Password” before he passed away in 1981 and they changed the format to include a bonus round. It was originally titled “Password Plus” and the next incarnation the title was changed to “Super Password”. I have to say, I enjoyed the show with the bonus round much more than regular “Password”. Richard Simmons is the other celebrity Betty’s team is competing against. He busts out laughing and seems to agree that Bert Convy did the right thing. Oh, and Betty DOES eventually get the clue, which is “whip” NOT 💩! But this clips IS 😂😍❤️🧐🎬
