All footage untouched, including audio which becomes further and further un-synched the longer the footage is on the WDV5000.

I used a clamp to be able to mount both cameras onto my longboard. The WDV5000 screwed straight onto the tripod screw-thread, while the GoPro required the housing and the small tripod mount. Part-way in, the GoPro started leaning forward even though the screw for the GoPro was on super tight, so I had to forcefully screw it on even tighter to get it to stay steady... I guess this would be fixed with the Hero-3's smaller size and weight.

The image quality isn't terrible on the WDV5000, but only when there's bright light. Dark areas are to be avoided. The WiFi feature is kind of neat, though only a frill that drains your camera's battery quicker and crashes a lot on android devices.

Compared to other reviews, you're far better-off purchasing the SJ4000 than this if you want to go budget-friendly. It has a live LCD screen on the back and records supreme audio quality.
