One of the first Mesa/Boogie amps ever made! "A" Serial number from 1974. Randall Smith was still working on, building, and inspecting these amps personally at the time this was built. The Mark I "Boogie" amp is famous for being used by Carlos Santana on "Abraxas" and live on tour. He famously played through on of the first ones and declared "man, that thing really boogies", hence the name. In this video, jwe'll change all the electrolytic caps, explore the guts, and do a tone demonstration.
