Since 2008, World Horse Welfare has been collaborating with the Ecole Inter Etats des Sciences et Médecine Vétérinaires de Dakar (EISMV) and the Senegalese Government to provide training to local farriers and harness-makers. Our aim was to improve the quality of service provision for working equine communities and we have successfully trained over 40 farriers and 30 harness-makers across Senegal.
