I show how I modified and installed the metal fire pit insert for my smokeless fire pit. I also made and put in the cross vent air intake diffuser piece. I initially sealed the metal ring to the firebrick with Rutland high temp caulk type sealant but didn't work well. I went back and re-sealed the joint with Rutland refractory cement.
