The 2012 Shell Canadian Smarter Driving Challenge concludes in Vancouver, B.C. Using an automatic 2012 Volkswagen Passat, Shell Bronze fuel and smarter driving techniques, Shell has set the world record for the most fuel efficient drive across Canada. The Smarter Driver Challenge team went a total of 6,339 kms on less than five tanks of fuel. Spending only $452.90 in total on fuel, the Smarter Driver Challenge team achieved 1,352 kms on every single tank. Going on a road trip this summer?
