Lp 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Congas - Latin Percussion Drums

• Lp 35th Anniversary Fiberglass Congas

-I paid $1,200 for the 3pc set with certificates.
($400 each drum)
-$150 for the 3 Remo NuSkin Heads

-I bough the 2pc Set in August 2020 and the 3pc set on January 2021.

-They have a Kevlar layer to Reinforced the fiberglass shell and also have a steel ring embedded at the top bearing edge to make an stronger shell

-I believe this is the same as Galaxy series, Fausto Cuevas signature except for the shell finish and the gold hardware Also faustos have rubber bottom rings which I think it’s awesome, I’m going to try to make them DIY over the metal ring, I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

-They come with COMFORT CURVE 2 Rims: Which don’t fit most heads, you have to get Newer Galaxy model heads, let me know in the comments if you know a hack or trick to make them fit. I saw a video were they tell you that they know how fix it but they don’t tell you how, because they charge $$$ to fix it for you so I don’t know what they do. Beside I think it was in Peru?. I kinda have a few ideas but I haven’t try them yet.

-I wish I had the bongo but now I’m going to have to wait until I find it.

-the Quinto can fall easily if it’s in the ground due to the small bottom ring, specially if it’s in carpet or an Un-even surface but Please take in mind that most congas are in risk from falling.

•WHAT WOULD I CHANGE?
I wish they were 28” tall with a wide bottom like the Original Model Congas , and Top tuning hardware would be awesome. (Standar rim size so i can put any heads)

___Quick Tips at the end of the video:
-WETING THE HEADS TO REINSTALL THEM :
I left them in the water from 12:55 to 1:07 and they were already very soft (it always depends on the type of skins you have) Avoid super hot water because they get burns and they get wrinkle spots. Please take in mind that it takes a long time to get dry (it might be ready until the next day) -
I Went back the next day at 5pm, then they were ready to be tune
