"Descending" from Tool's "Fear Inoculum" album (2019).
Definitely my favourite song from the album along with Culling Voices. Anyway, 7empest should hopefully be up either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow since it's quite a long one. Guess I'll be covering the entire album after all..
So Descending is not that difficult. Half of it is that chorus riff from the intro which helps. That being said, there are some nasty changes in this song. Some random 9/8 bars to switch up the repetitiveness. I couldn't help but smash up that low D string when the big riff came in the breakdown.
