Mandi Bahauddin, Chaudhry Munir Ahmed was elected president, Syed Mohsin Raza senior vice president, Muhammad Nafees Anjum and Inayatullah Anjum secretary general in the annual elections of Tehsil Press Club Malikwal.According to the details, Chaudhry Munir Ahmed was elected as the President and Syed Mohsin Raza Senior Vice President in the annual elections of Tehsil Press Club Malikwal for the year 2026. There was an interesting contest for the post of Secretary General in which the two candidates, Muhammad Nafees Anjum and Inayatullah Anjum, won.The candidates received equal votes. After consultation, the candidates agreed to take office for 6 months each. During this time, the winning candidates were congratulated and flower petals were showered. Later, the newly elected officials completed their cabinet and Muhammad Anwar was appointed as the Patron-in-Chief, Haji Muhammad Ashraf was appointed as Chairman, Tajammul Mahmood Janjua as Vice Chairman, Faiz Ahmed, Yasir Riaz Gondal, Muhammad Arshad Qureshi as Vice Presidents, Syed Hasnain Shah as Additional Secretary General, Arshad Pervez Sandhu as Joint Secretary, Syed Shakeel Abbas as Secretary Finance, Syed Moazzam Naeem as Secretary Information,Naseer Tahir Sial was elected as the office secretary. Speaking in this regard, the newly elected office bearers said that a large number of members from across the tehsil participated and exercised their right to vote, which is clear proof that every member of the tehsil press club cast his vote under the democratic process.He elects his office bearers through force, which is commendable. He also expressed his determination to do practical work for the betterment of the Press Club and the welfare of journalists.
