The California High-Speed Rail Authority announced on Tuesday, June 16, the beginning of construction at the Fresno River Bridge in Madera. Speakers at the event included Authority CEO Jeff Morales, Tutor Perini CEO Ron Tutor, Madera County Supervisor Max Rodriguez, Fresno County Supervisor Henry Perea, Vice Chairperson of the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority, and Chuck Riojas Secretary-Treasurer of the Fresno Madera Tulare Kings Building Trades Council.
