Kings and Generals animated historical documentary series on the early modern history and history of the United States of America continues with a new series on the Civil War. The first shots were fired with the Bleeding Kansas in 1854–1861 and John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry in 1859, but the war started with the Confederate secession and the attack on Fort Sumter in April of 1861 and the first battle of Bull Run in July of 1861.
